“Painting and the Patronage of the arts has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. For me it is a kind of spiritual journey which illustrates the feelings that I get from the people I meet and the places I visit. This is felt especially so today when busy schedules allow me to snatch only a few moments to indulge in the absorbing recreation of art”.

“My greatest motivation is Saudi Arabia with its beautiful and diverse scenery, landscapes, and its warm and welcoming people. My biggest inspiration is to promote the values of artistic expression, and through the canvas, to illustrate to ever wider audiences at home and abroad my vision and feelings for the region and the country I call home”.

“Painting & Patronage since its establishment in 1999 as a non-for-profit organisation has sought to facilitate worthy artistic, cultural and educational activities throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its activities have also travelled abroad in partnership with other statesmen and governments through the support of well known cultural and educational organisations, corporations and private individuals”.

“To date successful exchange programmes, exhibitions, scholarships, artistic summer schools, university scholarships and lecture series have been funded and organised as a result of exchanges with several European and Arab nations. Looking to the future, Painting & Patronage aims to establish further programmes across the world”.

“I am delighted that, with the support of the Anglo-Arab Organisation, a set of limited edition signed lithographs has been produced of some of my paintings with all proceeds being used to fund future Painting & Patronage initiatives. Ultimately these funds will help encourage and inspire other artists, both amateur and professional, from around the world to give contemporary artistic expression and meaning to a new generation”.
